1. Conducting Advocacy Manifestation on violation of women’s rights in Afghanistan by Taliban; On February 14th 2022, Women’s Solidarity Association for Women, in cooperation with other Afghan associations in Italy, organized a demonstration to advocate the violation of women’s rights by the Taliban in Afghanistan. In this demonstration, which the majority of the participants were women, the Women’s Association for Women requested the international human rights institutions to investigate the crimes and violations of women’s rights committed by the Taliban and advocate on their behalves
2. Conducting one-day training (Internship) in Samar Kand Restaurant in the city of Milan. This training was organised with the collaboration of Samar Kand restaurant for the Afghan refugees in Italy. The purpose of this one-day internship was introducing women to work in different parts in a restaurant.
3. Conducting two online psychological counselling sessions about immigration and asylum and psychological dimensions;
One of the activities of Women’s Solidarity Association for women is conducting meetings and workshops on mental health and psychological counselling for refugees and immigrants living in Italy. In line with these activities, this association has so far, held two online counselling sessions about immigration and its psychological aspects for refugees living in Italy.
4. Holding two legal counseling sessions for refugees and immigrants living in Italy;
One of the working areas of this association is conducting meetings and legal workshops about the rights of refugees and immigrants living in Italy. For this purpose, this association has so far held two meetings in cooperation with an experienced legal consultant who has worked in the field of asylum in Italy for many years.
