Everyone has stories in his or her life- happy or sad. I have my own story which is happy and sad. Throughout this essay I will write about one of my more difficult stories.
The first challenge I endured was during my time at my school. I started my school and I had a group of 5 friends, and I was so happy with them. Then my family moved to another district, and I continued my school in this location from grade 10-12. At that time, I was unhappy because I was so far from my friends and old school.
The next challenge was when the government fell. This resulted in me not being able to finish my fourth semester at my University, where I was concentrating my studies in the Education Faculty and English literature Department. When the government fell, I had to leave my country and travelled to Pakistan because I worked on National Radio and Television, and also worked on YouTube channels.
The third challenge which I faced was living in Pakistan, where I had a lot of problems because I could not speak Urdu. This was especially tough since I could not speak or understand Urdu and my English was not the best. Most of the time, when I went outside, I used google translator to ask for addresses and shops. At this time, I felt the most depressed and stressed in my life due to me being alone, dealing with these language barriers, and living in Pakistan.
The step I took to get out of this depression and stress was getting physically active. I woke up every morning at 4 am, and I went outside on the street for walks and to run. This strategy helped me a lot to reduce my stress tremendously.
Finally, my name is Larmina and that is a little bit of my life story. Life is like a zig zag and has many challenges, problems, ups or downs. But, we must be strong and never give up and never get disappointed. Keep moving forward.
Thank you for reading my story,
-Larmina
