In my point of view, ASDD is a supportive and humanitarian organization which empowers girls by providing free educational service, including internet access, language instruction, and mentorship programs. These contributions helped me to improve my academic capacity, English skills, and transform my life.
First of all, during my English class I gained a lot of beneficial lessons. Besides improving my English skills, I learned how to prepare myself for interviews and real life because our teacher taught us English, worked on our collaborative skill as well by providing model conferences and used different methods to prepare us for the challenge of life. He always surprises us with sudden quizzes which helped us to think critically and always be ready for every kind of test.
Secondly, mentorship was an influential part of the ASDD organization. It was an amazing program which helped me to learn extensive lessons. First, I could communicate with my mentor which helped me grow my self-confidence. Then I have learned to write my CV, Motivation Letter, and Letter of Recommendation to prepare myself for bigger steps in my life. The most significant lessons that I have learned from my mentor are humanity, kindness, courage, and confidence because every time I confront a challenge, I share it with her without feeling fear and shame and she responds with patience. She is the only one who inspired me to continue my education abroad and apply it to the development of my country. Now it is not just my hope, it is my desire and I will do my best to achieve this and change my dream to truth. I deeply appreciate all her support, and she is very valuable to me.
In short, the ASDD program was very helpful for me because it opened new opportunities like providing mentorship and teaching English where I learned the way of communicating with others, following my goal, and gaining new skills. Finally, I really appreciate those who work in this organization and I am truly thankful for all their support.
