After the political changes in Afghanistan, many girls were forced to leave schools and universities. The hope for an education and better future become a distant dream. Like thousands of other girls, I also felt lost, until I joined ASDD’s program. ASDD helped me find my way back to learning and gave me a new reason to move forward.

When I started studying English language in ASDD’s program, my English level was around B1. I had little confidence and did not believe I could improve. However, the lessons were well organized, and the teacher and mentors were supportive. Over time, I noticed real progress in my English. My teacher is helpful and always guides me and encourages me during hard times.

ASDD paves the way for desperate and hopeless girls. After all other educational doors were closed for girls, this was the only platform where I could continue my growing. These four years have not been easy, but ASDD’s program gave me consistency, support, and a safe place to learn. I learned not only language, but understood how to communicate with others, have confidence, and how to set my own goals.

ASDD’s program motivates me to have hope and encourages me to continue my lessons and get a higher official document. I have learned that even in the darkest time, learning can light the path forward. For this reason, ASDD’s program is worth fighting for.

To conclude, I can say when everything seemed hopeless, ASDD gave me motivation and strength. I am thankful for this program and especially for the mentor and teacher who never stopped believing in me. I hope this program continues and helps many girls like me to rise, learn, and dream again.
